Due to the generosity of the H & H Lee Foundation and the Friends of the Hemet Public Library,  City Council Accepted a check for $15,000 so that the Library can hire a part time Library Assistant to help out at the Checkout desk!

Summer Reading Program June 8 - July 30

The free summer reading program runs 8-weeks, June 8-July 30. Children ages 3-11 are asked to read 3 hours per week; children and teens ages 12-18 read 4 hours per week. For every week of completed reading, participants will earn a reward – collect all 8!

Lunch @ the Library

Hemet Unified School District is offering a FREE lunch for children and teens @ 11-12, Wednesday - Friday. No registration is required.

Snack will be served @ 2-2:30, Wednesday-Friday.
