The Finance Department is responsible for managing the City's financial operations in accordance with established Fiscal Policies.  The primary responsibilities of the Finance Department include:  Financial reporting, preparation of the bi-annual operating budget, Utility billing, CDBG Grant administration and financial oversight and administration of all City funds and accounts.

Financial Planning and Reporting:

The Finance Department coordinates the preparation of the City's bi-annual operating budget; issues the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR); coordinating annual and special audits; preparing State Controller's Reports; issuing interim financial reports on the City's fiscal and budgetary status; calculating the annual appropriation limit; maintaining on-line access of financial information to departmental fiscal officers and other City information system users.
