Community Action Plan

The COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN is a free program offered to the residents living in the City of Hemet. This program provides neighborhood groups with the tools to combat extreme nuisance activity in the community. This simple approach teaches residents how to channel their strengths into an effective plan of action.

  What Constitutes a Nuisance?

California Civil Code Section 3479 defines a nuisance as: "anything which is injurious to health, or is indecent or offensive to the senses, or an obstruction to the free use of property." If you have ever lived near a house where there was constant nuisance activity taking place, especially if the nuisance is drug or gang related, then you know how disruptive it can be. Drugs, gangsn and other extreme nuisances affect not only the participant, but can devastate an entire neighborhood. For more information, please contact Brent Cain at (951) 658-0691.
