Welcome to the web pages of the City of Hemet Water/Wastewater Department!  These pages will provide you with information on the following topics:

WATER CONSERVATION— California is facing one of the most severe droughts on record.  On January 17, 2014 Governor Brown declared a Drought State of Emergency and urged all Californians to reduce their water use by 20%.   Find out how you can do your part to save water on our Water Conservation page.

WATER QUALITY—Drinking water provided by the City of Hemet is safe and meets all federal and state health standards (primary standards for treating and monitoring water).  Read our 2013 Drinking Water Quality Report.

WATER SUPPLY—The City of Hemet Water Department relies on local groundwater as the only water supply source for customers in our 5.25 square mile service area.   

WATER SYSTEM & SERVICE AREA—The City of Hemet water system consists of nine wells, four storage reservoirs, and 120 miles of water mains.
