The Hemet Public Library Trustees are appointed to a three year term by the Hemet City Council to work with the library director and staff to establish policies for the library and respond to the needs and concerns of the public regarding library service.  Trustees are selected for their interest in the library and its role in the community and their willingness to devote time and effort necessary to carry out the duties of a trustee.
