A few things to know:

Training to become a tutor is FREE.
-
We provide the books you will be using, which you can "check" out or purchase.

No, you don't have to have a teaching background. The books you will be using have planned lessons in them, your job is to guide your learner through the books.

At the orientation, YOU let us know what hours and days you are available. We then match you with someone who is available at the same time.
-
You meet with your learner at a designated site twice each week, for approximately an hour and a half each time.
