On Tuesday April 14, 2009, at approximately 950AM, a woman called 911 and reported that her husband was in the process of molesting their child. Officers arrived minutes later, but the suspect had fled the scene in the family vehicle.

Further investigation by officers and detectives revealed that the mother had walked to the bathroom, and as she passed by her 13 year old daughters’ bedroom, she saw her husband in her daughters’ bed and he was committing a sexual act on her. The mother became enraged and began yelling at her husband and immediately called 911.

Officers conducted an extensive search of the neighborhood for the suspect father, but were unable to locate him.

On 4-15-09, at approximately 945AM Hemet P.D. dispatch received a 911 call from the mother again telling 911 dispatchers that the husband had returned to the home. Within minutes officers arrived at the home, but the suspect again managed to flee prior to officers arrival.

Approximately 10 minutes later, the suspect walked into Hemet P.D. and turned himself in to police. He was arrested and charged with child molest and child molest with force or fear. The suspect was booked at Hemet P.D. and later transported to Southwest Jail with bail set at $1,000,000.

Arrested:
George Luis Picasso
34 years old of Hemet.
